Beta Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Velmer Guardian handles information submitted for the beta program.

Information we collect

Application records may include contact and professional information such as your name, email address, optional phone number, title, company or studio, industry experience, discipline, and professional profile.

Testing environment information may include your DAW, operating system, intended use case, beta version, installation and stability results, workflow notes, audio-quality observations, and bug reproduction steps.

Feedback records may also include optional testimonial text and your separate testimonial permission choice. Anti-spam verification may process technical information needed to confirm that a submission is made by a person.

How we use it

We use this information to evaluate applications, administer beta access, communicate about testing, diagnose issues, and improve the product. We also use it to maintain accurate beta-program records and respond to privacy requests.

Who can access it

Access is limited to authorized members of the Velmer Guardian team and service providers that support the beta infrastructure. They receive access only when needed to operate, secure, and improve the program.

Short-lived abuse-control data

To limit repeated automated submissions, the service creates a SHA-256 digest from the requesting IP address and the form route. The raw IP address is not stored in the abuse-control table. The pseudonymous digest, route, fixed-window start, request count, and expiration time are used only for rate control.

Each abuse-control window lasts 15 minutes. Expired windows are eligible for deletion as soon as they end and are opportunistically removed during later submissions.

How long we keep it

Records are retained only as long as needed for the beta program, legal obligations, and legitimate product records. A deletion request will be reviewed and handled through the contact address below, subject to records we must retain for legal or security reasons.

Your choices and requests

You may request access to your information, ask us to correct it, withdraw from beta communications, or request deletion by emailing info@velmerguardian.com. Please use the email address connected to your application or feedback so we can verify the request.

Testimonials require separate permission

We never publish testimonial text without separate permission. General beta feedback does not become a testimonial, and giving permission is optional.
